Discover Centuries of History from the Middles Ages to WWII with Our Warsaw Old Town Walking Tour

Join us on an enlightening walking tour through Warsaw’s Stare Miasto, the Old Town, established in the 13th century along the picturesque Vistula River.

This charming district, completely razed during WWII, was meticulously restored post-war, with its reconstruction guided by the artworks and architectural drafts from the pre-war era. The Old Town was a significant battleground during the Warsaw Uprising in August 1944.

A Unique Warsaw Day Tour Exploring the City’s Past

Our journey traverses centuries of Polish history, from the medieval period to the dramatic WWII years. Key highlights include:

  • The former residence of Marie Curie, the pioneer of radioactivity research
  • Locations related to Frederic Chopin, the celebrated composer
  • Copernicus Memorial, dedicated to the revolutionary astronomer
  • Various memorials commemorating the fallen, including the Little Insurgent and Warsaw Uprising Memorial
  • The solemn Tomb of the Unknown Polish Soldier and its hourly Changing of the Guard
  • The majestic Royal Castle, a symbol of Polish sovereignty
  • Warsaw’s mythical Mermaid, the city’s emblem
